Sprint 4G is available in a few cities already.
Sprint has rolled out a few cities already on their 4G network. after looking I see that Las Vegas, Nv , Chicago, IL , and Philadelphia,PA are all listed on their site now along with Baltimore,Md I’ve read that they are planning on rolling out 10 cities this year and where I am Washington, DC is on the list. so I guess it’s a matter of waiting and seeing what is going to happen. I’m looking forward to see if a Verizon Wireless/AT&T competition will bring us 4G across the board or if it’s going to be a media/Marketing driven kind of campaign and we will be stuck with the older tech. If Sprint can get the public informed to the fact that their 4G network is a lot like cable Internet access but over the airwaves it can certainly gain them more business. however if they don’t have the handsets that people desire it’s going to be tough to start grabbing market share from their competition. if you’re in the cities where there is service check it out.
